Researching Into Film Roles

 Director

The director is a person hired by the producer/ producers that is very high up in status and controls the creative aspects of the film/series, bringing it to life. some famous examples of directors are: Steven Spielberg who has directed E.T, Jurassic Park, Jaws, West Side Story and many more very well known films.

Camera Operator 

The camera operator is a person that is actually behind the camera filming the scenes under control of the cinematographer (Director of Photography) and the director.  an example of a famous camera operator is Roger Deakins who worked on blade runner, skyfall and many more famous films.

Editor

The editor combines, levels and cuts all areas of the filming process and turns it into the masterpieces that we see today. some famous examples of these are Tom Cross and Elliot Graham who together edited 'No Time To Die' the newest James Bond film at this current time. 

Art director

The art director together with the director create the visual style for the film and produce what the director imagined. a famous example of one of these is Rick Carter who was involved with Jurassic park films, the polar express, avatar and many more incredible films.

Producer

The producer is the person behind the whole operation sorting out all of the funding and ideas for the film. Without them the films wouldn't exist. a famous example of one of these producers is James Cameron who produced the amazing film of Titanic.
